Last morning around the koi breeders and we headed for Aoki, he breeds metalic koi. Most of his koiwas sold out and only had a few available.
Then over two Jiroske where we visited earlier in the week but he was out then.
I found a very nice Doitsu Sanke and a good mix of Kumonryu, Platiunum Ogons and a Beni Kumoryu.
Then to Kaneko, the snow once again was falling heavy.
We had a look around Kaneko and had a coffee with him and then back to the train station to catch the bullet train to Tokyo, ready for our flight home.

We visited five breeders today, and brought from Hirasawa & Oofuchi.
It snowed all day, making driving difficult and slow around the hills of Niigata.
The worse place to get to was Oofuchi koi farm where the snow was very deep and the breeder had to make a path into the koi house.
The snow was built up to over two metres high, but we managed to collect a good selection of 6 nice high quality koi.
The other koi we brought was from Hirasawa, 3 stunning Kujaku with some other high grade koi including a Hi Utsuri, 2 – Kin Matsuba and a Mizu Ogon.

Another long car journey out to meet Takahashi.
Pictures of his house & family, surrounding area with lots of snow built up in the last few weeks.
I selected some nice Tosai mix of Doitsu Kohaku, Kohaku, Showa, Beni Kumonryu and other koi.
I also brought two Kumonryu and a stunning Doitsu Sanke.
We have a hobbist with us who also had a busy time selecting Tosai for himself from a pond.
